Long-press actions no longer working

Describe the bug
Widgets with a long-press named trigger action no longer work, nothing happens on a long press.

Device information:

  • Type of Mac: MBP 13-inch, 2018
  • macOS version: 10.14.5
  • BetterTouchTool version: 3.111

exactly same problem here

  • macOS version: 10.14.5
  • BetterTouchTool version: 3.140

Mh seems to work fine here in 3.140 (but there might have been a related issue in 3.111). For what kind of button/widget have you set up the long press trigger?

It's actually working fine this morning after upgrading to the 3.140 release (apologies if that was available yesterday) not sure what happened since I haven't changed anything in 8 months or so.

For reference my long press would just open chrome and then open a URL in a new tab. However to test the function, I also made a long press action that would just open a new finder window, that didn't work either.

In my case,

Shell Script / Task Widgets on Touch Bar configuration
are failing to trigger
Named Triggers (Execute Shell Script) on Named & Other Triggers configuration

upon long press

  • Did reinstall the BTT but failed (also wiped out ~/Library/Application Support/BTT)
  • Did upgarde BTT to latest 3.518 but failed
  • Triggering Named Triggers directly on Named & Other Triggers tab works fine

Is this fixed? I tried to create a long trigger but couldn't figure out how to get it to work...
