Launch Spotlight Action

I use the magnifying glass key (on F4) to launch the app search using a BetterTouchTool action 'Show Apps in Spotlight/Launchpad'. I use spotlight search less often but would also like the ability to launch it. However in BetterTouchTool I can't see an action for 'Launch Spotlight'. Does one exist?

spotlight is usually cmd+space, so you can just send that shortcut. (easiest solution)

Alternatively you can use the "Trigger macOS functionality from System Settings => Keyboard => Keyboard Shortcuts" action:

Thank you. I've used the second solution as I use Cmd + Space for Raycast
