Keystroke to text does not paste/type capital letters

Complete newbie here and did try to search, For one or other reason if I define a keystroke to type text it ignores case so something like 87GriPop! gets pasted/typed as 87gripop1
Any suggestions please?

are you trying to paste into a virtual machine, remote desktop or something similar? (these don't support this very well)

Hi Andreas thanks for your prompt reply. I think you are correct. tryng to paste into Mobaxterm (windows app) running under crossover.

unfortunately there you might be out of luck - as least for now. I haven't looked into this for a while, maybe things have changed, but I'll need to check whether there is now a way to achieve proper programmatic keyboard events in these setups.
