Keep touchbar and BTT on while allowing display to sleep

I'm not sure if it is possible, but I would love to be able to use the touchbar while my display is on screensaver. I have a clock as my screensaver and would love to be able to startup/ control music while the screensaver is on.

Again, not sure if it's possible because the the touchbar is linked with the display for sleeping, but it would be so good if you could.

Definitely not possible to do this on Apple's screensaver, but something like a BTT screensaver to replace Apple's would still be cool.
