Describe the bug
Since the last major update, I've been having issues with three-finger click on all my devices. I have it mapped to middle click, and I find myself needing to click 3-4 times before the middle click is actually registered. Did something change recently? I've been using BTT for over a decade and have never run into this issue before. Seeing this issue across multiple Mac devices.
I just tried it but it is triggering everytime here. Is there maybe another app that could swallow the middle click? @xidiot suggestion is good, that would show whether the gesture is triggering or not.

I tried to debug it by showing a HUD message and it's BTT not capturing the 3 finger clicks. When I try again, it works. There's really no pattern here, it just fails randomly. I use this extensively on Chrome and it gets annoying.
Are you using the system three finger drag accessibility option? (Drag stuff around by moving three fingers on the trackpad)
Unfortunately that one does not work well with BTT because it changes the fundamental behavior of the trackpad.
You can enable three finger drag compatibility mode, but it has big limitations.
ah yes, I found some interesting behavior in your video related to the force timing and tried to improve that. Could you try with the current alpha version (get via "check for alpha version updates"). It might either resolve your issue or, if not, log the specific failure modes that could prevent the click. (If the alpha does not fix the issue it would be great if you'd go to Help => Export Basic Debug Logs and send them to andreas@folivora.ai )
