Issues with three finger click

Describe the bug
Since the last major update, I've been having issues with three-finger click on all my devices. I have it mapped to middle click, and I find myself needing to click 3-4 times before the middle click is actually registered. Did something change recently? I've been using BTT for over a decade and have never run into this issue before. Seeing this issue across multiple Mac devices.

Affected input device (e.g. MacBook Trackpad, Magic Mouse/Trackpad, Touch Bar, etc.):

MacBook Air trackpad, MacBook Pro trackback, Magic Trackpad 2

Is your trigger triggered? You can check in the "Recently Used" or add a HUD.

I just tried it but it is triggering everytime here. Is there maybe another app that could swallow the middle click? @xidiot suggestion is good, that would show whether the gesture is triggering or not.

You could also try the new "On Press Down" action category:

Or if you want it to behave like a real middle click that stays pressed while the trackpad is pressed:

Are you running Fadel's Mission Control Plus by any chance?
