I'm using the floating webview feature of BTT as a replacement of GeekTool. I have a main screen and my laptop screen. On the laptop screen I have the floating webview widgets - Shows my current todo list, random quotes, current desktop image caption, currently playing music track info . Whenever my laptop goes to sleep and wakes up the position of the widgets is lost and I have to manually reposition them. I want to be able to automatically place the widgets on the laptop screen on wake. Is it possible ?
Mh are you using webviews in floating menus or the old "floating webview"? (With floating menus you get a lot of positioning options that allow you to define exactly where they will appear)
You can also move floating webviews programatically but this can be quite tricky to get right
resize_webview({x: 10, y: 10, width:400, height: 200})
I had a really tough time getting the web views working in the floating menus. I'm using named triggers and floating webview . Is there a way I can identify the webview individually ? That way I can place them on the second display just the way I want it
have several web views. how do I address a specific webview ? I
only webviews in floating menus support this properly. There are maybe ways to make it work with standard webviews (via their UUID), but it's not really documented nor tested ;-(
