"Inverse scrolling for normal mice only" not working in Mojave

Describe the bug
"Inverse scrolling for normal mice only" doesn't appear to be working in Mojave.

Affected input device (e.g. MacBook Trackpad, Magic Mouse/Trackpad, Touch Bar, etc.):
Logitech Performance MX Mouse

Device information:

  • Type of Mac: MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports)
  • macOS version: 10.14 Beta (18A371a)
  • BetterTouchTool version: 2.536 (installed through Setapp)

Note: Before bug reporting, please make sure you have the latest version of BetterTouchTool and that you have already tried to restart your system :-). If you encounter a crash, please attach a crash log from the macOS Console.app from the "User Diagnostic Reports" section.

I have the same issue. It was working when I upgraded to Mojave, and then after I connected another "normal" mouse the problems started. Now the setting does not do anything at all, so I am using Scroll Reverser (https://pilotmoon.com/scrollreverser/) for now, which seems to work fine.
