# Improve Window Switcher responsiveness by preloading and caching window thumbnails

I currently use the Alt-Tab app, but I would love to switch to a BTT based solution.

Here's my issue - The BTT Window Switcher appears quickly, but its window thumbnail images can take noticeably longer to load.

Could BTT proactively preload window thumbnails and cache them so they are available immediately when the Window Switcher opens? A slightly out of date thumbnail is preferable to delay in showing anything. Thumbnails can be updated once the switcher is shown.

Should be a bit faster in 6.933!
