How to set, clear BTT "Safe Mode"

Last week BTTRelaunch popped up a dialog saying something like “BTT crash loop detected, restart in safe mode?” - I said OK to that. Now after a reboot and BTT update to 6.450 I’d like to turn off Safe Mode, but BTT still pops this up on every time it begins. How do I have it stop that setting?

Searching help has no results for Safe Mode - Search the documentation | BetterTouchTool Documentation

I’ve rebooted a couple times, restarted, BTT is still starting in Safe Mode.

The clipboard manager is working for me, the key sequences are not, my guess is that Safe Mode precludes key sequence triggers. Hence my desire to turn off Safe Mode and see if that’s the cause.

you can use this terminal command:

defaults write com.hegenberg.BetterTouchTool BTTSafeModeEnabled NO

Do you have a crashlog in the macOS console app's crash report section?

With that command & restarting BTT, key sequences are working, and BTT no longer displays the Safe Mode info box on startup. Thanks!

No crashlogs from BTT/BetterTouchTool - have a crash from Mail, Last.fm scrobbler, and some work tools, but nothing from BTT.
