How to restore presets from a backup drive?

Hi,
I have a clone of my backed up harddrive and I'd like to restore my BTT presets and settings. I tried copying the ~/Library/Application Support/BetterTouchTool but that does not work.

Is there a way to do this?

Copying ~/Library/Application Support/BetterTouchTool should work fine, it contains all the presets. Just make sure to use a BTT version equal or newer to the one you had on your old machine.

Hi @Andreas_Hegenberg, I was having the same issue. I have reinstalled Mojave and am restoring things from scratch.

I downloaded the latest greatest from the site and restored ~/Library/Application Support/BetterTouchTool with no luck.

I then deleted the app and restored the original app and all my presets came back.
