High CPU usage (7% to 10%)

CPU usage of BTT version 2.503 (841) ranges between 7% and 10% (as displayed by the Activity Monitor) on my MacBook Pro 13-inch, 2017, 3.1 GHz Intel Core i5, 8 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3 running Sierra 10.12.6.

Isn't it a tad too high?

Heavily depends on what you are doing. When idle BTT shouldn't use much CPU, but when switching between apps or when having the BTT preferences open this can go up (momentarily).

Also when you are running Touch Bar scripts or similar, they can influence CPU usage A LOT.

Rebooting solved the problem for now, CPU usage is <1%. I'll let you know if it happens again. Thanks!

If it happens again try running this terminal command

sample BetterTouchTool -file ~/Desktop/BetterTouchToolSample.txt

This will create a file BetterTouchToolSample.txt that you can send to me (andreas@folivora.ai) to look into it.
