Help! "You have not yet configured actions in BetterTouchTool"

I did a backup a few days ago, and afterwards BTT wasn't in my menu bar. When I tried to open it, it told me there was a problem finding a file somewhere in my Library... I feel silly, but I didn't catch what it was because I had to finish a time-sensitive task, I didn't think much of it. Now that I've had time to go back, my BTT is empty! I have the message "You have not yet configured actions in BetterTouchTool" on my touchbar. How can I restore my settings??

BTT version 3.581
Catalina 10.15.7
Macbook Pro 2019

Thanks in advance!

what exactly did you do to create a backup?

Just plugged in my hard drive and Time Machine did its automatic backup. Nothing different than usual!

If you have a time machine backup maybe the easiest way would be to restore from that, maybe something got corrupted (might not even be related to the backup)

Restoring this folder should do the trick (while BTT is quit): ~/Library/Application Support/BetterTouchTool

Go there via Finder -> Go -> Go to Folder, make sure to include the ~
