Note:
Before bug reporting, please make sure you have tried the latest (alpha) version of BetterTouchTool and that you have already tried to restart your system :-). If you encounter a crash, please attach a crash log from the macOS Console.app's "Crash Reports" section.
Describe the bug
On macOS 27 Golden Gate, a globally configured TipTap trigger with two fixed fingers completely breaks the system-level "Three Finger Drag" gesture.
Setup:
- System Settings > Accessibility > Pointer Control > Trackpad Options: "Use trackpad for dragging" enabled, dragging style set to "Three Finger Drag" - BTT: "All Apps" > Trackpad > "TipTap Middle (2 finger fix)" assigned to fn ^ C
With this configuration, three finger drag does not work at all — in any app and in any context. Window title bars, text selection, dragging files in Finder, scrollbars: none of them respond to the three finger drag gesture. The drag never starts. All other trackpad gestures (click, tap, right click, swipes) behave normally, and dragging with a regular click or an external mouse works fine.
Quitting BTT entirely restores three finger drag immediately, so this is not a macOS-only issue. Disabling only the single "TipTap Middle (2 finger fix)" trigger under "All Apps" fully resolves it — no other changes were needed. All other configured triggers (1-finger TipTaps, 2-finger edge swipes) can stay enabled without any issue.
This exact configuration worked without problems on macOS 26 Tahoe. The issue started after updating to macOS 27.
My guess is that the momentary three-finger contact required by a 2-finger-fix TipTap is being claimed by the system's three finger drag recognizer on macOS 27, where it previously was not, and that the resulting conflict suppresses the drag entirely. This may be related to other reports of three-finger gestures misbehaving on Golden Gate (e.g. "three finger tap 3 times" no longer working).
Related issue: TipTap (two fingers fix) does not work correctly
Affected input device (e.g. MacBook Trackpad, Magic Mouse/Trackpad, Touch Bar, etc.): MacBook built-in trackpad

Device information:
- Type of Mac: MacBook Air 13" (M2, 2022)
- macOS version: 27.0 Golden Gate, RC build 26A428
- BetterTouchTool version: 6.803
Additional information (e.g. crash logs, related issues, etc.):
No crash occurred. Tested after a full system restart. 6.803 is currently the
latest available release — BTT's update check reports no newer version, and no
alpha build was offered, so I was not able to test a newer build.
