As a musician, I found it natural to add a rotate right/left gesture for volume (mimicking a volume knob). The downside to this is that zooming in and out sometimes gets triggered when I use this. So I tried disabling it in system preferences and adding a three-finger pinch/spread gesture for 'Smart Zoom'. This didn't work well, because I wanted to be able to zoom in and out like normal, just with a different gesture. I require zooming in and out for a music software I use, so it would be good to be able to zoom without triggering the volume and turn up the volume without triggering zooming.
