I recently purchased Better Touch Tool and have been trying to use the Floating Menus feature. Unfortunately, almost everything I’ve tried has either not worked at all or has behaved inconsistently.
For example, I tried creating Hot Corner Floating Menu from template. By default it’s set to the top-left corner, and that works. But if I change it to the top-right corner, it stops working. Restarting the app or deleting and recreating the menu doesn’t help.
I also expected Floating Menu template to be one of the simpler menu to set up. I tried creating one from the default template by going to Default Menu Template → Use Template → Give it a name → Create, but I immediately get “TEMPLATE NOT FOUND” -> Retry button
Another issue: in the left sidebar under Recently Used, there were two items. One of them had apparently already been deleted, but it was still listed. When I selected it and clicked Delete, the app crashed.
I also noticed that under All Apps, if I create and then delete a menu, it continues to appear in the list until I switch to another panel and come back.

So far, almost every part of the Floating Menus feature I’ve interacted with has had some kind of issue. I bought the app because of its good reputation, but this experience has been very different
