I configure per-app floating menus, but as of the past few months, they have become unreliable. They almost never appear, unless I force BTT to fully restart, and even then, after the per-app floating menu appears, clicking out of its app and back into its app results in the menu never appearing again, until I restart BTT again.
If you want you can export and share a menu with me, then I can check. Is there a reason why you are still on macOS 26.2.2? There have been significant updates with lots of bugfixes since that.
My mistake, I meant macOS 26.6.2. I think I mistyped the version.
Current visibliity configuration is set to "visible on launch". I have never touched this setting, should it be something else? I'm gathering some screenshots.
You seem to be using the old legacy outline list based UI, I guess that could cause problems. It has been deprecated for a quite while and is hidden/disabled for all users except the ones that had used it in the past.
Maybe you can export one of your menus (right-click => export to file) then I can check whether there is some menu corruption. (you can also send it to andreas@folivora.ai if you don't want to post it here)
Oh okay, I did not know this was deprecated. Is the feature still available? It simplifies complicated OBS setups for me quite a bit when it works normally.
I'm attaching the .bttpreset (is that the correct way to export it?) - It's not super complicated nor sensitive, just a few buttons that do a few keyboard shortcuts, essentially. I've actually pared it down a little so there's a few disabled buttons in there.
The "Position On Screen" is set to "Free Move". This means you can move the window anywhere, but it also means it can be in inaccessible places, especially when switching between multi-monitor setups. Whenever possible I'd try to specify a fixed position.
the minimum width and height of that menu are both set to 50 - I would recommend to set them to the actual size values you use the menu at
