Nothing is broken functionally. But when I tap on an app with a notification (Whatsapp, Outlook, Slack, etc.), the text at the screenshot appears instead of the button for 1-2 seconds. Then it goes back to normal.
I tried relaunching / reinstalling BTT.
Unfortunatley due to a bug in a previous version of BTT implicit results of Apple Scripts were not returned. and thereby not displayed. However this was fixed with the latest version.
If you add a simple return "" at the end of the action that is assigned to your badge button, it will work correctly again.

A new GC version will be released shortly with this fix baked in, along with a bunch of other small improvements and additions
