Find>Shift Cmd F

Hello, I'm using Microsoft Outlook for Mac. I have assigned 4 fingers swipe down for “Find” Shift, CMD, F. When I swipe down it just brings me a black box just under the Search field. When I just hold down Shift, CMD, F works fine.

Is this a BTT Bug or Microsoft?

Device information:

  • Type of Mac:
  • macOS version:
  • BetterTouchTool version: (please post the exact version - not just "the latest one")

Additional information (e.g. crash logs, related issues, etc.):

It seems to work fine here, which version of outlook are you running? I have Version 16.105 (26011018)

After doing many of the swipes, outlook at some point started to dismiss the search window sometimes. (No empty window here though). It looks like they are doing something with trackpad events, but hard to tell.

Changing it to trigger on touch-release helped in this case:

The same Version 16.105 (26011018)

It only works for the first time. aka open the app then I swipe down and brings to the search field BUT after that if I swipe down again it brings me that black box
