Ever since I’ve been a Mac user (nearly 20 years), I’ve had my trackpad set to allow both three finger dragging AND dragging without Drag Lock at the same time. Initially this was possible through the GUI but for the last few years, it’s needed a tweak via terminal.
With macOS Tahoe, this has stopped working. If I enable three finger dragging through terminal, then dragging with Drag Lock is enforced. It doesn’t matter how I set the setting in Accessibility / Pointer Control / Trackpad Options, whether to drag with or without drag lock, it always forces with drag lock.
Effectively, I want these two options enabled at the same time.
Is this something I can do in BetterTouchTool please?
I’ve updated my MBA to Tahoe and I’m really struggling with it now, I’ve got nearly 20 years of muscle memory of using either three finger drag or drag without drag lock, depending on what I’m doing. I’m holding off updating my Studio because of this.
