Eject Key Not Mapping

Eject key (between F12 and F13) does not register for keyboard shortcuts.

Affected input device (e.g. MacBook Trackpad, Magic Mouse/Trackpad, Touch Bar, etc.):
Magic Keyboard

I have this same problem. Would really like to use this useless key (there are no CD-ROM drives anymore) for something else--like mapping it to "Delete" because I keep hitting it instead of Delete.

I'd also like to remap the eject key. It's utterly useless to me.

Hi, thanks for creating this bug report in the first place @zedauj, I was very surprised my Eject key mappings weren't working.

Any news on this @Andreas_Hegenberg? I just got a brand new full numpad Mac keyboard and it would be lovely if we could use this well positioned key that's now obsolete. :pray:

It would be wonderful if I could map this key. I'm having the same problem too

Perhaps Karabiner can map it.

Please add the mapping to the Eject key on the magic keyboard
