A very cool (and often overlooked) feature of BTT is drawing gestures.

It takes only a couple of minutes to get used to drawing gestures but when you do, it becomes like a second nature.
To start drawing a gesture, the global trigger is a double tap ( make sure it doesn't conflict with your preset):
Here are all the actions associated with the preset (some may not be applicable to your config - disable/delete as needed):
Note: a few gestures are attached to a global keyboard trigger which in turn opens an app ( Finder, iTerm2, Google chrome) and displaying a HUD menu - this method is more compact when making a change to an app trigger - you only have to change it in one place.
