# distance between Fingers

In the advanced settings, I like to use leftmost\_rightmost\_touch\_distance\_percent. Unfortunately, there is an issue with gestures involving more than two fingers: sometimes, the leftmost finger slips below the area occupied by the other two fingers.

This can happen quite easily when performing a three-finger swipe using my thumb, middle finger, and ring finger. The thumb is normally the leftmost finger, but as soon as it moves below the other two fingers, the middle finger becomes the leftmost finger instead.

This throws off the distance measurement. I would like to keep measuring the distance between the thumb and the ring finger, regardless of whether the thumb moves below the other fingers.

-\>This is probably what I'm looking for: instead of using the leftmost and rightmost fingers as reference points, use the maximum distance between all fingers as group, weather it is horizontally or vertically.

This is, where "leftmost\_rightmost\_touch\_distance\_percent" will work out fine:

This is, where it won´t work like I would like to, because now the finger on the bottom now has nothing to say anymore:
