Current Day Widget: Display Format not editable, font color not changeable

Describe the bug

  1. In the Current Day Widget settings, I can't edit the "Display next event with this format:" box. I can click in it, but I can't change anything in it.
  2. As long as I have "Show all of todays events" enabled, the font color that I can set in the Common section of the widget settings does apply to the current date, but not to the events. They are always shown in white.

Device information:

  • Type of Mac: MacBook Pro 2018 13"
  • macOS version: 10.14.6
  • BetterTouchTool version: 3.186 (1365)

Please disregard the first one, it works. My fault.

I face the same issue, the textbox on MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2019, Four Thunderbolt 3 ports) with Version 10.14.6 macOS Mojave does not permit to edit the format string of the calendar widget.

I would like for privacy reason to hide the title and the location

just typing into the field works fine here, are you sure you tried that? Unfortunately macOS doesn’t make it very clear that the default text is just a placeholder

Oh ok ! Because Actually it's not greyed out and I just wanted to move within the text and remove some of the placeholder.

I'm mostly a KDE user, perhaps mac users are better at seeing that's placeholder texts.
