CPU usage bursts to 100%, Energy Impact up to 100

Description
I noticed that my battery life is significantly shorter when running BetterTouchTool. Haven’t noticed this before. Activity Monitor shows periodic bursts of 100% CPU and an Energy Impact value of 100 for several seconds at a time, every 10 to 20 seconds.

I haven’t noticed this before, and am wondering whether it’s an issue introduced in one of the recent updates

External USB keyboard (with N-key rollover), Bluetooth Magic Mouse

Additional information:
Experimental Sync feature is enabled. Storage backend: Dropbox. Dropbox app is running, and sync is active.

Your sample looks like an issue with the experimental sync engine. Do you have cloud sync enabled in BTT? If so, dropbox or icloud?

//edit ah sorry just noticed the additional info! I'd try to disable sync for now. I have only seen this issue with Dropbox yet, possibly iCloud works better. I'm not yet sure what's causing it - if possible it would be great if you'd open the BTT preferences, help menu => export debug information and send the resulting folder to andreas@folivora.ai )
