Control Key Modifier Ignored in Triggered Actions

Note:
Before bug reporting, please make sure you have tried the latest (alpha) version of BetterTouchTool and that you have already tried to restart your system :-). If you encounter a crash, please attach a crash log from the macOS Console.app from the "User Diagnostic Reports" section.

Describe the bug

Recently I’ve encountered an issue in BetterTouchTool where any action that includes the Control key as part of its trigger executes without the Control modifier. For example, a shortcut configured as Control+Option+Command+T only sends Option+Command+T when triggered, and the Control key is omitted.
Restarting BTT or macOS does not resolve the problem

Device information:

  • Type of Mac:Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2019
  • macOS version: 15.5
  • BetterTouchTool version: 5.421

Additional information (e.g. crash logs, related issues, etc.):

Can you post a screenshot of your configuration for the trigger that doesn't work?

This is just an example, and the same thing happens with every other trigger that includes the Control key—the Control modifier is omitted. Even when creating a new trigger and testing it, the same issue occurs.

When an existing preset is enabled and I designate a new, empty preset as the main preset, it works correctly. What on earth is the problem?
