Comet Browser crashes 5 to 10 times a day with BTT running

  1. Describe the bug
Disabling BTT makes the silent (ie no crash dump) Comet crashes stop.
    I tried:

    1. Clean reinstall (AppCleaner, zero extensions)
  2. Tried a new macOS user account.

  3. Did a full fresh macOS install on a new volume.
The crash persisted through all of this.

Affected input device (e.g. MacBook Trackpad, Magic Mouse/Trackpad, Touch Bar, etc.):

Most likely the browser doesn't implement some of the macOS APIs correctly.

You can try to disable some BTT functionality and see whether it helps, but a real fix can only be implemented in the Comet app

Thanks Andreas. I had already tried to disable BTT completely for Comet, and that reduced Comet crashes by 90%. I then closed BTT completely, but even then I still get the occasional (every 2 days) crash, so obviously not BTT-related.
