I would love to see two options for touchbar groups :

  • Close an opened group automatically if it received no touch for the last x seconds
  • Close an opened group if a button outside the group is clicked

Try "Close Currently Open Touchbar Group" function for a button within a group.

Agreed. Would love to see this, particularly "close after x seconds with no touch input".

This would emulate the native volume and brightness sliders, which close automatically after a few seconds with no input.
