Once I had BTT set up perfectly, I completely forgot how it was implemented. I have no memory of creating this trigger but I certainly did, and deleting it resolved the issue. Much appreciated.
Is there a way to prevent/warn the user from creating a conflict like this?

@Andreas_Hegenberg, maybe it would be helpful to delete this section from the Hyper Key action...
The dropdown menu that specifies that the hotkey could have "Actions Executed on Trigger" vs. "Actions Executed On (Unused) Hyperkey Release" is not very obvious...
Instead, perhaps you could show a split pane for "Actions Executed on Trigger" at the top and "Actions Executed On (Unused) Hyperkey Release" at the bottom...
or in any case, make it more obvious that there are two settings to specify: one for a Used hyperkey and the other for an Unused hyperkey.
