Can't access layout template for menu bar

I want to change the menu bar - why is it so tall on the new mbp?!
Anyway, under Notch/Action menu bar, then advanced, Open Template Location in Finder does nothing when pressed.
What am I doing wrong?

Anybody?

macOS doesn't provide a way to make the menubar smaller. Apple made it intentionally larger on the current Macbook Pro's to contain the Notch.

BTT's Notch Bar was a fun experiment but has been deprecated due to various changes Apple made in the current macOS versions. However it also never could change the height of the menubar.

Thanks. Andreas. I just don't see why it's sooo big. Anyway, I'll have to just live with it
