Cannot use escape while task switching

This is a report from the GC-BTT GitHub. I was able to confirm the bug, and it seems to be a BTT-related issue. When using command-tab, the Touch Bar cannot be interacted with, meaning the escape key cannot be pressed.

Device information:

  • Type of Mac: MacBook Pro w/ Touch Bar
  • macOS version: Catalina Developer Beta (Latest)
  • BetterTouchTool version: 3.201

I think we have talked about this beforešŸ˜€

Unfortunately macos disables custom Touch Bars while Mission Control or App Switcher are active. I have no idea why, but I havenā€™t found a workaround for that yet.

Check out my thread here about this topic where I may of found a workaround that can be introduced in the future: I may have discovered a way to get the Touch Bar to work when using Mission Control
