I just created several contextual menus that become invisible after performing an action. I always encounter the same problem: if an action is launched from the menu, when I reactivate the menu, it becomes inoperative and clicking on a menu item opens a desktop window. I have to restart BTT every time so that the menu becomes operational again.
Do you have an explanation and a solution? Thank you in advance.
mh, how did you create your context menus and how are you triggering them? What is your BTT and macOS version? (There are tons of people using custom context menus, so in general they work fine - but it's always possible some specific configuration is causing issues)
Thank you for your reply. I use BTT 6.006 on MacOS 26.2. I tested 2 trigger modes to show/hide these menus:
- via a mouse button
- via an AppleScript
But the problem is the same in both cases. If you wish, I can send you a menu that launches several Apple applications (created so as not to clutter the dock).
yes would be great if you could export one of the menus and post it here! (or send to me andreas@folivora.ai)
Thank you. Here is my menu that launches several Apple applications.
