BTT Window pops up without reason

I'm working with an external keyboard and mouse and every so often (several times a day) the BTT window pops up out of nowhere. This is a new thing, since a few weeks, and it is really annoying.

Device information:

  • Type of Mac: MacBook Pro
  • macOS version: 11.1
  • BetterTouchTool version: 3.534

Any pointers or fixes are appreciated.

This is being tracked here: Configuration window appears out of the blue - #19 by Andreas_Hegenberg

It looks like something on some systems randomly tries to start BTT while it’s already running, but I have no idea what it could be. There is a workaround described in the last comment.
