BTT seems to bottleneck speed of restoring Chrome tabs and full-speed resumes if BTT is not running

Describe the bug
While BTT is running, when reopening Chrome web browser the speed while restoring tabs is very slow and has a long delay and seems to struggle or not load their content entirely. The moment I quit BTT all tabs restore/load very quickly. I've noticed the issue for months.

The only present I run is GoldenChaos.

Device information:

  • Type of Mac: MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019)
  • macOS version: 10.15.7 (19H1323)
  • BetterTouchTool version: 3.570 (1710)

Workaround: Quit BTT, then let Chrome load/restore all previously open tabs.

I can not reproduce this.

Do you have any scripts running in BTT that query Chrome for something?

No, none. I only have GoldenChaos installed and no custom actions (yet).

I've uninstalled BTT and will do a fresh install to see if the issue persists.
