BTT Now Playing doesn't display with Spotify MBP13

I have had this working for a while on my MBP15, with no issues, when I set this up on my 13, the Spotify icon will flicker on and then off as I click "save" but show nothing else.

If I play something in iTunes, the button displays.

which version of macOS?
Does it show in the standard macOs notification center widget? (BTT uses the info it gets from the system)

Catalina, latest build. Yes it shows the standard centre widget

maybe try to restart your machine, if you are using the standard BTT now playing widget it should definitely show spotify (just verified with the latest spotify version)
