BTT Floating menu does not close

I have a floating menu which is displayed only when the BTT configuration window is "open", (at least that is the idea),
sometimes when I close the BTT configuration window, the menu stays open and can not be closed anymore like below:
( nice new context menu btw...! ). A BTT restart will fix that, but what could cause that BTT can not close the menu anymore ?

I have made some adjustments in 5.487, maybe this helps!

it appers that with 5.554 the above issue is back (menu will not close anymore).
I am running MacOS 26 beta, it be related to that.

Does it happen always or sometimes/randomly?

it is more randomly, I could not find a pattern yet.

I hope this is resolved in 5.562, I added various more safe guards to keep the menu states consistent.
