BTT Crashes on Startup

BTT crashes when I was editing the settings for Safari. Specifically, it was about a variable that is used for url.

I was trying to match a url pattern.
The log file shows this:

1625077667.082490|ASL|bettertouchtool handled exception Can't do regex matching, reason: (Can't open pattern U_REGEX_RULE_SYNTAX (string commandMenuOn, pattern *instructure.com/courses/*/gradebook/speed_grader*, case 0, canon 0))|

Then, it shows the crash window (screenshot below) every time I try to restart it. It also crashes in the safe mood!

I don't know what I can do. Any suggestions?

I restored the BTT files from Time Machine. BTT works normally now. I think the url match probably broke it. But the constant crash was alarming.
