Using the latest 3.172 version when switching to an app that don't have BTT configured and back to one that is configured I need to manually enable it each time in order to the touch bar appears.

Also for a fraction of a second when switching from the BTT enabled app to an app that doesnt have anything configured I'll see the toolbar message "You have not configured..."
