I asked a user on the Scrivener forums what kept them using maccy and not BTT for clipboard management and these were their reasons:

Summarised:

  1. Dark mode text is often black on dark grey (for example copied from LibreOffice)
  2. Lots of tiny text and icons (dense UI)
  3. Items take a lot of vertical space, can fit in many more entries in maccy than BTT in th same screen space
  4. BUG: saved search dialog got stuck on screen
  5. BUG? favorites show all items

I have seen 5 very rarely (like the UI gets stuck), but not common for me. For 2 & 3 something like a compact UI mode would help. I also have problems with 1, some way of checking the font colour and reversing the background or the font colour itself would help?
