Got a new laptop, want to transfer settings. Tried just copying over all preferences from my user folder on the old Mac to the new one - didn't seem to transfer anything over. Old laptop is 13" MBP, new is 15". Any help?

same here. hoping theres an easyish way as i have hundreds of settings across multiple apps
Actually, just tried the sync to icloud feature in settings, clicked the reset sync status button on both computers and it brought over everything in a matter of seconds!
