Describe the bug
After I started syncing my settings (through iCloud) to my new MacBook, today when I went back to my original MacBook, none of my keyboard shortcuts were working.
Luckily, before I had done the sync, I had exported my main preset as a backup. So I was able to restore that backup. Unfortunately, after that, only some of the keyboard shortcuts worked: the ones that just map to another shortcut work; the ones that send keys to a specific app (or to the app on top) don't work.
Affected input device (e.g. MacBook Trackpad, Magic Mouse/Trackpad, Touch Bar, etc.):
Built-in and/or external Keychron keyboard
Device information:
- Type of Mac: MacBook Pro M1 Max
- macOS version: macOS 12.6.1 (Monterey, ARM)
- BetterTouchTool version: 3.952
Additional information (e.g. StackTraces, related issues, screenshots, workarounds, etc.):
Workaround is I have to edit all my shortcuts: either (a) re-enter the keys to send to the app or (b) re-select the app as the target of the keystrokes
