Can floating menu buttons trigger application-specific menu items, just like clicking them in the app menu?

Can you use shortcut instead of menu items ? You can send shortcuts to any running app using "Send Shortcut to Specific App" and these options are also useful:

Thanks. It was for menu items that do not have assignable hotkeys inside the app.

Can you give your use-case, it will be easier to figure out if you can achieve this.

You can always use the predefined action "Trigger Menu Bar Menu Item" and assign it to your floating menu buttons, but a real example of what you are trying to achieve would be good - possibly your Floating Menu can also benefit from some specific setup.
