You can see in the BTT gesture Live preview that I’m touching the magic trackpad with one finger. I’ve tried light touches and pressing down hard when I’m in Ableton, but the gesture does nothing. The keyboard shortcut that it’s tied to does work fine to open and close the Ableton browser though. Can anyone see in this pic if I’m doing something wrong here? Also, not sure why some app icons are doubled now or if that’s related or just a ui quirk?
You have set it to only work on a Magic Trackpad 1, these are the very old Magic Trackpads that still had physical clicks - are you sure that's what you want?
In general the long touch is a gesture you probably don't want to use on its own, this would always trigger when you touch the trackpad for a bit longer. It can be useful when combined with some advanced trigger conditions though.
Oh! That should be it. I was doing some experiments having the ai make mappings and it defaulted to that old one. Thanks!
