The application switcher widget only changes the menu on the top, instead of bring up the window. It only brings up the window when the window is already on (but underneath other windows). Is it a bug? Or feature?
I knew the dock widget can bring up the window. And I could just "show running apps only". But there are slight differences, e.g. the switcher shows the most recent app at first, making it easier to use.
the application switcher is modeled after the macOS app switcher (cmd+tab), thus it behaves like that one.
However I’ll check whether I can add an option to make it behave like the Dock widget
