App Switcher has unexpected behaviour in Catalina

Just upgraded from Mojave to Catalina 10.15.2 and now the App Switcher from within BTT pops up a mini dialog with two lines, each with "Application Switcher".
Clicking on one of the lines then pops up the actual Application Switcher.

This is very annoying.

this usually happens if you have configured two same triggers with the same action assigned, is that possible?

Andreas, that was it.
It was working fine in Mojave and how this happened I have not idea, as I did not reconfigure BTT after the upgrade.
