Adjust speed of "Set Display Brightness"

Is it possible to speed up the "Set Display Brightness" action?

It currently has a slow fade that adjusts the brightness over ~500ms, but I'd like it to change instantly.

Is it possible to use a hidden option like defaults write com.hegenberg.BetterTouchTool...? @Andreas_Hegenberg

unfortunately not, BTT forwards the request to the system immediately and doesn't have control about the timing

The reason I’d like a faster response for “Set Display Brightness” is because I’m using BTT to increase screen brightness when Photoshop is open, then lower it when switching to any other app. The one-second delay to lower brightness blasts me with super bright windows when I switch away from Photoshop. :grinning:
