Let's say you're making a thing and you need an action that waits. So you open the action menu, click on the search bar, and type in wait. As expected, a filtered list of actions related to wait show up. Let's say you choose one, but it doesn't work quite the way you expected. So you reopen the action menu, click on search, type wait again, only this time it will not provide you with a filtered list. To resolve this bug, switch to another trigger, then switch back.
