Due to my ageing and seemingly deteriorating eyesight, I'm a frequent user and abuser of the macOS accessibility zoom feature, which I normally invoke with the default trackpad gesture (a 3-finger double top) on my MacBook Pro. I was hoping to map this to a Magic Mouse gesture so it can be quickly accessed without reaching for the trackpad or (if in clamshell mode) a keyboard shortcut. It's something I use frequently but only quickly to check small text or details here and there.
Unfortunately I couldn't find this gesture in the library of options available. There were two zoom options I could find but these weren't the accessibility full-screen zoom I am after. One was the zoom window, which seems to enlarge application windows in the Finder, and the other is smart zoom, which is mainly only used in Safari or other browsers to zoom parts of a web page using a two-finger double tap gesture. Neither of these are helpful in full-screen apps like games or where the full-screen zoom is just quicker and more convenient.
Is it possible to configure BetterTouchTool to add the accessibility feature I require as a Magic Mouse gesture, and if not is it something that could be added in future updates? BetterTouchTool seems incredibly (if not overwhelmingly) capable of many things already and if this is possible I will purchase the software just for this.
Looking forward to hearing back either way.
