sounds like your BTT is not launched from the applications folder, is that possible? Otherwise it's some sort of file permission issue

I launched it from Raycast after it was closed for some reason..

Maybe Raycast did launch some version it found somewhere on your system.
You can open the BTT preferences then cmd+click the BTT dock icon to see where it was launched from.

Applications folder

that‘s bad, then something else is wrong ;-( These errors are however caused by the system, not BTT - which makes them even more annoying to debug

Often a system restart will fix file permission issues.

I've been having this problem before, then it stopped after macos Sonoma, I've recently restated my computer a few days ago tho..
I quit out of that popup but permissions are granted in settings, will that affect BTT, I can see that it's working as expected..

if all is working maybe macOS is just returning an incorrect state, in that case it should be fine.

Got it, Hopefully they fix this in MacOS 15
Thanks!
