Is this to take advantage of the new Mac widgets in the next version announced at WWDC? that'd be cool!!
my thinking is there should be a suite of data visualisations cards. this would need to include a way of reading/ parsing data sources and inputs like from a local database, to apis, to web. it would also require some easy way (I'm thinking presets) of displaying data.
then of course, it'd be the user input cards - like buttons and dials and sliders and all the fun (which ideally could moderate/ act as further inputs).
it'd be an ecosystem built around the same powerful functionality you already have under the cover.
It's about something different, but pretty similar (can also be pinned to desktop if needed)
