Describe the bug
3 Finger Left and Right swipe don't work in Finder. Using MacBook trackpad. I also set an HUD to figure the trigger is working, and it does seem to be working, but the Action (⌃ + ⇥) isn't getting executed.
I tried adding a second action (cmd+space) in addition to ctrl + tab, and that action work but ctrl+tab didn't. So it's something to do with ctrl + tab and ctrl + shift + tab, which isn't being sent to Finder. These keys work in other apps via BTT

@Andreas_Hegenberg
most likely the shortcut is being executed but Finder doesn't react to it. Does it work if you press it manually in BTT? Maybe some Finder specific setup in BTT that overrides your global setup? Does anything suspicious show up in Recently Used in BTT?
I just checked and it works fine here, so it's not a general Finder <> BTT problem.
this is what shows up in recently
Does it work if you press it manually in BTT
i didn't understand this
all presets for Finder in my BTT
one thing I do remember is this broke around the same time when I enabled Finder Context Menu feature. I disabled it later though.
sorry I meant does the shortcut work if you press it on your keyboard while in Finder?
yes. I set ctrl + N > ctrl + tab, and it works
In that screenshot it shows an app-specific 3 finger swipe left specifically for Finder, did you have an app-specific setup for testing?
Yeah, I just added it there.
normal, I have a global 3 finger swipe left/right setup that does ctrl + ⇥ or ctrl + shift + ⇥
Unfortunately I can't think of anything that would affect this.
Is there maybe anything checked for Finder here?
Arew the shortcuts correctly shown in Finder's window menu?
